Today, we will look at the subject of the definition and the obligations of the ‘Acceptance of similarity for products’.
 
If the handled products are recognized as similar to the previously approved biological products (standard biocidal products) under Article 25 of the K-BPR, approval may be obtained through simplified documentation.
 
BP Similarity is applied under Article 25 of the K-BPR when the two different BPs contain identical AS(s), have similar components and mixing ratio of substances therein, and have a similar use, risk, and effect/efficacy of BP(e.g.destroying harmful organisms).
