[K-BPR] Reminder of the Upcoming Grace Period for the Approval of the Existing Biocidal Substances and Products

Here are the upcoming grace periods for approving existing biocidal substances and products.

1) Grace period of the existing biocidal products (based on Tier 1 substances): 

    ▶ Until December 31, 2025

    ▶ Tier 1: Fungicides, Algicides, Repellents, Insecticides, Rodenticides.

    ▶ Government Support Program for Tier 1 biocidal products: additional recruitment for the support of consulting fees and
         production of ingredient analysis/efficacy test data for biocidal products (until budget is exhausted)

2) Grace period of the existing biocidal products (based on Tier 2 substances): 

     ▶ Until December 31, 2026

     ▶ Tier 2: Preservatives for wood, Other vertebrate removal agents, Other invertebrate removal agents

3) Grace period for the existing biocidal substances (based on Tier 3 substances): 

     ▶ Until December 31, 2027

     ▶ Tier 3: Preservatives for product storage, dry film preservatives, and Fiber, leather materials preservatives.
