[Linked in] July 20th K-BPR : K-BPR Household chemical product subject to confirmation

Good morning, we would like to explain the guidelines of household chemical products under K-BPR. According to K-BPR, household chemical products (hereinafter HCPs) should be obtained the safety confirmation & notification or product approval. Types of the HCPs are 13 types, 39 items. Check the attached table.
The procedure of the HCP subject to notification is as below 1.    Verifying the safety standard through the designated test institute
2.    Notifying the safety criteria confirmation to the government
3.    Receiving a notification certificate (the validity is up to 3 years.)
The product subject to approval must be prepare and submit the application for the approval. Product subject to approval are existing products (eight items) and other products (excluding existing products among household chemical products subject to safety confirmation which the safety standards are not announced).
Also, there are safety standards for child protection packaging, so if you make and sell products to children, you need to get a child protection packaging certificate.
Finally, the phrases that cannot be labelled on the product in advertising are as follows: nontoxic, environmental-friendly, harmless, human animal-friendly (similar expression cannot be labelled on the product).
